Found A Pet...
Most animals are found close to home (on average just a few houses away) and a neighbor has a MUCH higher chance of helping a pet get home than a shelter does. If you're able to hold onto a stray pet while you look for the owner, you're increasing the odds that they'll find their family while helping shelters save space for sick and injured pets.
There are many ways to help a pet get home. Most owners are found through microchips and social media or neighborhood apps.
We see every challenge as an opportunity, and this initiative helps us ensure that our partners are better prepared to manage the unique situations they find themselves in. We are invested in an innovative approach that empowers our community and delivers the support they need, when they need it.
Through our Support Services, we have the potential to make a real and positive change in the community. This is one of our key areas of focus here at Blackheart Trappers, Transport & Rescue, and a source of much success for our Animal Rescue Service. Get in touch with us today and see how you can lend a helping hand with this program.
